Wenda's passion for wedding and event planning began when she planned her own wedding in 1995.
Her love for wedding planning has continued to blossom over the years and she has developed the reputation of being "the asset every client needs" for their special event. Wenda's eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, warm personality, ability to work under pressure and creativity help to make her events very successful.
Wenda is known for going beyond her duty as a coordinator to assist her clients in making their events as stress free and memorable as possible. Because she is very passionate about her work, Wenda provides dedication to every wedding or event she coordinates regardless of which stage of planning you are in.
Wenda's recent accomplishments include being a contributing writer for Linda Novia Magazine, the first bilingual wedding and quinciera magazine as well as being honored with her own "Dear Wenda" section. In 2007 Wenda started the first Southern California Chapter for the Association for Wedding Professionals International. In 2009 Wenda became a Destination Planner for the Philippines and in 2010 has become a Certified Mexico Specialist as well as has been honored with the 2010 Bride's Choice Award from Wedding Wire. 
More than Just Weddings has expanded to include an associate coordinator Andrea Walker and design team which consists of the highly sought out Nancy Flores and Mars Resendiz from Flowers on Mars.

Andrea's passion for event planning started in college, when her sorority spearheaded a citywide memorial service for September 11th. She learned all the major components of producing an excellent event, that later awarded her sorority the coveted Thousand Stars Award. After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Corporate Communication and Business Management she later moved to Southern California. While here she began seeking a position in Events and Wedding Planning, and continuing her education with the completion of the Professional Meeting and Event Planning Certificate. She has had the opportunity to assist two prominent Wedding and Events Planners in Southern California, and has produced events exclusively on her own. She is committed to providing clients with an organized, relaxed, and detailed planning experience. She works great under pressure, and always follows through on commitments. Her dedication to exceeding her clients expectations, remaining optimistic, providing a wonderful, stress-free event are her core values, and she looks forward to providing exactly that.
